ANVERS.  Hot in the eighties.  Today the label is back after a long absence and how!
Created by the internationally known Antwerp designer couple An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx, better known as AF Vandevorst, a new chapter in the successful story of this Belgian fashion label is starting from fashion season A/W-07/08 on.

ANVERS anno 2007 goes for an unique style which is standing midway pure, almost intellectual fashion with a high rock and roll level and an elegant, romantic style.
It is a fashion collection which is not created for a certain age but thinking of an intelligent and mondain woman with an open spirit.

“Famous incognito” is the theme of the A/W-07/08 collection.  Starting point were aquarelle drawings of women silhouettes.  As you recognize a familiar person from the contours of his silhouette – even if you do not see his face- you recognize in these drawings famous garments.  Those classics get an Anvers-twist and consequently the whole collection gets its unique, familiar style.

For this collection AF Vandevorst draw their inspiration from the gentleman’s wardrobe to create a collection which is still extremely feminine and refined.  The trench coat, blazer, men’s trousers and men’s shirts are passing by and go through a metamorphosis.  The result is a plain, tightly cut silhouette which gets a soft touch by feminine, almost poetic tops and dresses.  Rock ‘n roll meets poetry.

ANVERS is a total look collection consisting of jackets, dresses, trousers, skirts, coats, blouses, jumpers, t-shirts and nice accessories with a high fun level like sunglasses, belts, stockings and canvas handbags.  Knitwear and jersey are an important part in the collection.

For the A/W-07/08 collection the colour board is made of different brown and beige touches, grey, high blue and accents of coral - and washed red.

ANVERS is a collection in a middle high segment and with subdesigner selling prices. 
The garments are manufactured with materials of high quality such as sophisticated wool and cotton mixtures and silk.  A lot of attention is paid at the “coupes” and the ideal fit.

The Belgian label ANVERS, known for its knitwear of high quality, was a real hype in the eighties.  Isabelle Santens (Andres N.V.) bought in 2006 the label in order to give the collection a new life, together with Luc Dheedene (Fashion club 70).  They asked the internationally known designer couple AF Vandevorst to outline the collection .
Selling and distribution of the collection will be organised by Fashion club 70 for the Benelux, and by subagents for the remaining international market.  The development and production of ANVERS take place at Andres N.V.


New arrival in our prêt-a-porter department is Blugirl Follies, the little sister of Blugirl. It’s a typical Italian collection with a romantic twist. Target group are young ladies from the age of 20 and older. This collection includes lots of jeans, fleece, tops and T-shirts in the well known Blugirl style but with an average buying price of 70 EUR. Do not hesitate to come and see our collection on the second floor of Globe 1 !


Retour Denim is already an established brand in the Netherlands. This Dutch collection offers high quality jeans at low prices, for boys and girls between 1 and 14 years old. Also skirts, jackets, shirts and T-shirts are represented in this collection. All items are manufactured by hand and finished in detail. All the trousers have an adjustable waistband to ensure a practical use.


A new underwear collection (starting from AW0708) and beachwear collection (starting from SS08) from the famous luxury brand John Galliano will complete our lingerie department . It is to be expected that also these collections will be based on his excellent designer qualities with

references to the past and a certain amount of seduction, just as we know John Galliano.

Roberto Cavalli ‘s collection Angels & Devils is a must have for everybody with a preference for ‘fashion for kids’.  The children’s collection has been restyled and divided into a fashion line and a commercial line with lower prices. For boys and girls from 2 to 16 years young.
